FAQs

  • How much is the booking fee and is it refundable?

    In order to secure your date, we request a £250 deposit per van. This fee is reimbursed on the day of the event and deducted from any outstanding balance you may have as part of your package. The booking fee is fully refundable up to 21 days prior to the events. Any cancellations within 21 days of the event will still be charged.

  • Do you need electricity?

    Yes. We request a source of electricity within 25m of the bar location. If this is not possible, please let us know so we can discuss the generator or alternative options.

  • What's your serving capacity?

    We can cater for events up to 400 people with a 14ft bar. If your event has more than 400, guests we can extend the bar to suit. With this said, we offer dry hire service to parties of any size!

  • How does the draught system actually work?

    We use the best quality draught dispensers imported from Europe that enable us to serve ice cold drinks on draught whilst still being mobile. Each bar has 2 draught taps (4 available on request) and can serve up to 130 cold pints per hour served at 1 degree (colder than the pub). You can choose what we serve on these from lager and cider to Pimms or Prosecco.

  • What if my event is cancelled due to COVID?

    Any booking that must be cancelled due to government legislation surrounding Covid-19 will be reimbursed in full.

  • Do you provide glassware?

    We provide all glassware for your event if there are more than 100 guests. For events with fewer than 100 people, we charge a hire fee for the glassware that also covers the cleaning of the glasses. 

  • Do I need a license for my event?

    If the event venue does not have a license to serve alcohol, you will require a Temporary Event Notice (TEN). This can be obtained from the council and we can do this for you for a charge of £40

  • Do you need running water?

    Our mobile bars does not require running water which enables us to set up anywhere, anytime. We do however need somewhere to wash our hands so if there is no running water nearby please let us know and we can bring a portable hand wash station. 

  • Do you offer welcome drink packages?

    As well as running the main bar, we also offer competitive packages on welcome drinks and/or table wines. From pimms to prosecco, cocktails, or bottled beers, we have yuo covered. Call us now to discuss your package!

    One van and a bar counter is sufficient up to 100 guests. For anything over 100 guests, we would recommend 2 vans and a bar counter to ensure we can run efficiently. There is no additional cost for this.

    We can hire out glassware for your event on request. If the event is outdoors then we strongly encourage you to opt for plastic. Most venues will specify this anyway for safety. Plastic is also much more efficient, and we use biodegradable recycled plastic to be more environmentally friendly.
